On Loving Norm Macdonald: A Remembrance

Today, September 14, 2021, the world mourned the loss of comedian Norm Macdonald. A hero of mine for some 30 years, Norm altered me profoundly and so here, in an unplanned ramble, I briefly reflect on what he means to comedy fans, how he altered the way some of us thought and even spoke, his genius and profundity as a comedian, our lone in-person encounter in 2011 and subsequent correspondences, and just how much sadder the world is for me without the funniest person ever, here to make it better. I love you, Norm. I always have, I always will.
